To mark this year's National Careers Week, we are showcasing seven individuals pursuing seven very different careers.

They are an inspiring bunch and make you realise anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

What they all have in common are buckets of enthusiasm for what they do and a chance to make a difference in the area they work for – whether that is for a family, a community or the whole country.
