New to the agricultural industry, Zoe Colville left her London hairdressing career to join her boyfriend Kriss in Kent. Together they have gradually built up their farming business and look after sheep, cows and goats. Zoe has used social media platforms, especially Instagram, to extend their farm business and grow her online presence, achieving more than 36,000 followers to date. Using two different social media handles on Instagram gives followers access to watch the animals being reared and see Zoe and Kriss’ high standard of welfare on their own personal platforms. Zoe is passionate about educating the public and hosts digital events, such as a sausage-making masterclass where followers join her for an evening of learning. She regularly emails her followers and customers informing them of the most up to date events on her farm and with her food making business. Here, followers join Zoe for an evening of learning, in which she provides the equipment, meat and skills necessary to make your own sausages.
