Amanda Owen - aka The Yorkshire Shepherdess - is a Sunday Times best-selling author. Her books 'The Yorkshire Shepherdess' and 'A Year in the Life of of the Yorkshire Shepherdess' offer inspiring accounts of her transformation from Huddersfield townie to rural sheep farmer.

Amanda was one of the first farmers whose social media accounts became hugely popular with the general public. She now boasts 104,000 followers across her Instagram and Twitter profiles.

Running 1,000 sheep on a 2,000-acre hill farm – about 2,640 football pitches – with her husband Clive and nine children, she is also an avid photographer and public speaker living in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
